In the years that followed his debut on the market, Gran Turismo Sport has updated itself countless times welcoming so many new content, including several tracks. Unfortunately, in the Polyphony Digital title, the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit is still missing, incredibly requested by the players.
Apparently, it seems that the Japanese team is preparing to remedy this lack. During a meeting with the press held in the new headquarters of Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamauchi stated that “probably SPA will become playable starting next week “ with the publication of the update at the end of October, which among other things will also introduce four new one’s Automobiles. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not given us absolute certainty, so we are forced to remain on our toes until the update is launched.
Gran Turismo Sport and Spa-Francorchamps is a story that has been going on for quite a few months now. In March, Polyphony claimed that its lack was due to licensing problems, which were born relatively recently. The circuit, in fact, was present both in Gran Turismo 5 (in the form of paid DLC) and in Gran Turismo 6. In August, during an event in New York, Yamauchi finally confirmed his arrival by showing a preliminary version of the same, but since then it has never been published. In the past few hours, Spa-Francorchamps has been the theater for the GR Supra GT Cup final which took place on the Gran Turismo Sport World Tour 2019 in Tokyo, demonstrating that the works have now been completed and that only the official debut in the full game is missing. In the meantime, you can admire the GT Sport Spa-Francorchamps in the images taken during the GR Supra GT Cup, attached in the gallery below.
