The first trailer for Gods & Monsters was shared with the public at E3 2019. During the Los Angeles fair, Ubisoft also announced the game’s release date.
Initially set for 25 February 2020, the latter was recently postponed, with the new launch window placed more generically in the next fiscal year. Following the spread of the news, the development team of Gods & Monsters wanted to send a message to the videogame community.
” Our ambition for Gods & Monsters has always been to create a unique and epic journey during which the player can explore a beautiful world in which to fight dangerous mythological creatures, use extraordinary powers conferred by gods to save the world from the most deadly a creature of Greek mythology.
We made the decision to take more time to refine the game so that we could offer an even more incredible and memorable experience on all platforms.

Gods & Monsters was not the only Ubisoft game to have its publication date changed. The software house, in fact, also postponed Watch Dogs Legion and Rainbow Six Quarantine.
