Dragon Age 4: Electronic Arts sets the “probable” launch window of the blockbuster RPG

Dragon Age 4

Once eager to confirm the arrival of exciting remasters since 2020, EA’s Blake Jorgensen jumped at the opportunity offered by the last investor meeting to offer us important updates on the development of Dragon Age 4 and, in particular, on its launch window.

When presenting the results obtained by Electronic Arts in the last three months, the company’s Chief Financial Officer responded to a question put by an investor stating that “you know, Dragon Age 4 is out there, we talked about it publicly (with the teaser of The Game Awards 2018, ed) saying that we were developing it and that it will probably arrive after the fiscal year 2022 “ .

The indication provided by Jorgensen thus allows us to set the most probable marketing period for the next chapter of the Dragon Age series from early April 2022 to the end of March 2023, on a range of platforms which, it is assumed, will include both PC, PS4 and Xbox One as well as Sony’s and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett .

As suggested by the manager of Electronic Arts, reminding us of the TGA teaser trailer for 2018, the Dragon Age 4 project should be under the aegis of BioWare: we do not know, however, if the vicissitudes came to the Canadian company with Anthem’s now known problems they could also reverberate on the new blockbuster RPG focused on the eternal clash between Wizards and Templars for the control of Thedas.
