Grand Theft Auto V is literally a market war machine. The title developed by Rockstar Games for the giant Take-Two Interactive has in fact exceeded 115 million copies worldwide. To put things in context, after the publication of the data, the analyst Daniel Ahmad pointed out that the title is even growing compared to 2018: last year he had placed “only” 10 million copies, while this year is already reached 15 million.
You can see the tweet yourself with all the data reported by the analyst.
To add some additional context. This is how much GTA V has sold (roughly) each year.

This is not the only major game for Take-Two’s second-quarter FY2020: Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen the distribution of 26.5 million copies, one year after its launch, while the recent Borderlands 3 has put together 7 million copies distributed – after 5 million launches and 70% of the copies that were digital.
The company’s data speak of net revenue up 74% from the previous year, or $ 859 million – driven also by NBA 2K20 results. We now await to discover that slice of the market will allow for the arrival of Arthur Morgan also on PC, which took shape last November 5th.
