A few days ago Nintendo and GameStopZing organized an event with an extraordinary night opening for the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield for Nintendo Switch.
The appointment for the thousands and thousands of fans is from 5.00 pm (GMT+2) at the Milan shopping district CityLife.
Even in Japan, the Great N was preparing to do things right, but apparently something didn’t go the right way.
Game Freak and The Pokémon Company have in fact decided to cancel the Sword and Shield launch event that should have been held with all the players in Tokyo. The cancellation is linked to “organizational reasons”, although the companies seem to want to keep a low profile for the launch of the new Pokémon.
This perhaps also following the heated controversy between the Pokémon community and the authors, after cutting the national Pokédex. The event would also see Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori special guests.
What do you think?
