As you may recall, at the beginning of this year the President of the United States Donald Trump presented a bill to tax goods produced in China up to 25%.
This would have meant that by the end of 2019 the selling price of the various gaming platforms (including PlayStation 4) would have increased. Apparently, the danger seems to have now returned.
Both governments have in fact recently signed an agreement to avoid tariffs, effectively turning off this sort of “trade war” that would not have brought any benefits.
It is not clear whether the Italian market would have been affected by this taxation, although we are sure that American players are now much more relaxed than in recent weeks.
