According to CD Projekt Red’s statement during a community event, Cyberpunk 2077 will be shorter than The Witcher 3, but it will be more replayable.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be shorter than The Witcher 3 but will be more replayable. The same CD Projekt Red declared it during the annual event for the community that took place in Poland.
In reality, the developer still has to measure the overall length of the game, taking into account all the meetings and secondary missions. The main quest and the major secondary quests will last less than those of The Witcher 3.
During the same event, the Polish developer also revealed that the secondary missions of Cyberpunk 2077 will be more complex than those of The Witcher 3. Cd Projekt Red described the secondary missions of The Witcher 3 as a single line from which many branches start, while those of Cyberpunk 2077 has a different structure, and often evolve into other secondary missions that go to impact other missions, including the main ones. Precisely this more articulated structure will make the game replayable several times.
Before leaving, we remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16th, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Later it will also be released for Google Stadia. There is also talk of the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett versions, but it is still early to address them.
