What is promised is debt, and Capcom has finally launched the acclaimed Monster Hunter: World’s Iceborne expansion for all PC users through Steam. This content prominently enhances the adventure presented in the base game, and if you’re a fan of this installment, then you definitely can’t miss it. Learn a little more about their news here.

With an entirely new story, Iceborne hunters can explore an area called Hoarfrost Reach, which is so far the largest region in the game, and home to the mysterious and new Elder Dragon Velkhana. Players will face a multitude of challenging new monsters and variations while using new game mechanics that offer greater depth to the combat system.

The PC version of Iceborne includes enhanced high-resolution textures, custom graphics, support for DirectX 12, further optimization for FidelityFX CAS and scaling. Additionally, keyboard and mouse controls have been improved to better accommodate new actions and PC skills. To celebrate the launch of Iceborne on PC, two different packages of objects await you once you log in, one for all players and one for Iceborne owners, but make sure you get them before February 5th.

As with previous iterations of the series, Iceborne will include a robust amount of free post-launch content, with the first one planned for February and March. The updates for Iceborne on PC will align with those of consoles in the future.
