Doctor Strange 2: Director Scott Derrickson Abandons the Project

The director of Doctor Strange announced that he will abandon the Doctor Strange 2 project, because marvel decided not to continue anymore

Through his Twitter account, director Scott Derrickson revealed that he will not direct the second installment of the Doctor Strange tape.

“Marvel and I have mutually agreed to separate our path in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness because of creative differences,” Derrickson wrote.

The director of the first installment of the sorcerer starring Benedict Cumberbatch did not reveal more details. The sequel to the film is expected to be released in the United States on May 7, 2021.

It should be remembered that it was previously announced that ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ was going to be Marvel’s first horror movie, something that was surely Derrickson’s idea, so he also directed “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” and “Sinister”.

For this reason, users wondered if Marvel would agree to take this course for their characters. We will have to hope that Marvel does not decide to make a more generic version of the movie, as it is well known that it is one of the best Marvel movies released.

It should be remembered that Doctor Strange has been released for more than 3 years, but there is, according to a fan, a particular scene that nobody noticed and that has been erased thanks to Disney’s family standards and that his own director, came to testify about This controversial fact.

The alleged scene happens before the car accident where Dr. Stephen Strange ends with quite serious injuries to his hands, so much so that his career as a neurosurgeon could have ended immediately.

And all this was caused because the protagonist was drinking alcohol, which caused his accident. That event is seen in the trailer but according to the fanatical observer, it was eliminated from the movie.
