Selena Gomez’s New Tiny Tattoo Refers to Her Album

Selena Gomez returned to music with Rare, an appointment was made with Bang Bang Tattoo and the result was this tiny tattoo.

(Yesterday) On January 16, Selena posted photos of her new acquisition, as she passed through New York City. Like many of her tattoos, this one is small, minimal and simple: ‘Rare’ written in thin black font thus choosing the name of her album as a celebration.

We know that for Selena visiting the tattoo artist is something similar to when you decide to make an appointment in the salon to change your look (as therapy), so the singer decides to incorporate these tiny tattoos in the same way that you or I would choose a Bob.

In December 2019, Selena revealed to Capital FM (through E! News) that she had one with France Raisa to commemorate the kidney transplant that saved her life in 2017.

Fans first saw the tattoo: the date of her transplant, placed on the back of her right arm, on Gomez’s Instagram on January 11, but has not yet posted a close-up photo to show the details.

Like another fact, this Rare tattoo seems to be its 13th, and it is definitely not the first one done in Bang Bang. As a connoisseur of delicate tattoos full of meaning, Gomez remarkably tattooed the points and commas on the wrist with actors Tommy Dorfman and Alisha Boe, as a nod to their work in 13 Reasons for which.
