Worse Than Barbara Mori? ‘Rubí’ By Camila Sodi Has A Warm Reception At Its Premiere

In social networks, Mexican actress Camila Sodi did not get rid of comparisons with Barbara Mori, who played the evil Ruby 16 years ago

Miami, USA.- It has been 16 years since the version of the soap opera Rubí starring Bárbara Mori occupied the national grid and now it is Camila Sodi’s turn to get into the skin of the evil protagonist, despite the fans who have already seen the first chapter are not entirely satisfied with this new version.

Univision premiered on Tuesday the new version of Rubí in the US market and comparisons between Sodi and Mori have not been expected, as well as teasing some sequences that qualify as an involuntary comedy.

One of them is a scene in which Rubí (Sodi) apparently lives in a mansion full of luxuries and comforts, but apparently against her will and where a very sophisticated security system is shown, worthy of spy and robbery movies Hollywood’s most sophisticated.

There are other fans of the 2004 soap opera who talk about the incongruities of the new character versus the one played by Barbara Mori.

The new version of this production that is based on the story of Yolanda Vargas Dulché can be seen throughout the Mexican Republic until February and has 25 chapters.
