The Italian ranking highlights a lack of worrying exits in this 2020. GTA 5, FIFA 20 and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot occupies the top three podium positions.
GTA 5 is again the best- selling video game in Italy. The GSD rankings of week 6 of 2020 highlight this. A data that, together with the presence of FIFA 20 and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on the podium, highlights a lack of worrying exits.
AESVI sent us the rankings for week 6 of 2020 provided by B2Boostas part of the GSD (Game Sales Data) project promoted by the European federation ISFE. The association reminds us that the “Combined” sales rankings provide the breakdown of sales between “Retail” and “Network”, as well as the overall sales that reflect the entire market. For “Network” sales, GSD aggregates data relating to Full Games Downloads (FGD) purchased by paid consumers through the following platforms: PlayStation Network, Xbox Live eSteam. Consequently, other categories such as “free to play” or “microtransactions” (or in-game purchases) are not covered.
Here are the top 10 positions :
- GRAND THEFT AUTO V
- FIFA 20
- DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT
- TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX SIEGE
- CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE
- NBA 2K20
- MINECRAFT: NINTENDO SWITCH EDITION
- LUIGI’S MANSION 3
- RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2
The presence of a single recent game within the top 10 positions shows that in the last few weeks nothing significant has come out, on the contrary. To make the lion’s share is a game several years old ( GTA V ) the classic football game ( FIFA 20 ). Then the usual suspects, such as the game of Dragon Ball, Minecraft and Red Dead Redemption 2.
We hope that something will happen in the coming weeks, such as a Nintendo Direct or the PS5 launch event will be announced, otherwise, we will be overwhelmed by boredom. What do you think?
