The obsession with the speed with which the models recover after giving birth has reached such levels in recent years that in the virtual sphere you can find even lists of the stars of the catwalk that have returned to parade more quickly after giving Welcome your suckers.
However, Ashley Graham has set out to show a more realistic picture of the postpartum on her Instagram account with the posts she has been sharing since welcoming her first child in January.

Raise your hand if you didn’t know you’d be changing your own diapers too??♀️ After all these years in fashion I never could’ve guessed that disposable underwear would be my favorite piece of clothing but here we are! No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes even the messy parts) new moms go through. I wanted to show you guys that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies! It’s been tough, but my friend Chelsea @cmrh and ceo at @fridamom is making waves and starting honest conversations. It’s unbelievable the obstacles we still face talking about what women really go through. All their stuff she sent me has been a life saver.
True to its custom of challenging the established canons of the industry that has made it one of its most media figures, the first-time mom has not cut herself in recent weeks when talking about the use of diapers and disposable underwear, between other things, while she herself discovers how to navigate this new stage of her life both physically and emotionally.
Now it’s the turn of the dreaded stretch marks. Although in the past Ashley had always reneged on Photoshop to hide any “defect” that makes her, in short, human, in the last photo she has uploaded to her platform she has gone a step further to show the marks of a violet tone that she still has in the belly.
