The new Pixar movie, ‘Onward‘, has already been seen by some lucky people before its premiere, and the opinions are generally very good.
The film takes place in a world full of magic and follows two elf brothers, who are voiced by Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, who want to bring their father back to life for just one day. On their first attempt, they will get it halfway since they will only bring their legs and they will have to find a way to bring the rest of their body in less than a day.
In general, the opinions have been very positive, but there are people who, even recognizing that it is a good movie, expected much more from Pixar and criticize especially its simple story.
Onward is weird and ✨wonderful✨ Consistently surprising, appropriately sweet, occasionally profound, perfectly Pixar.

In a surprise to no one @Pixar has delivered yet another great film with #onward. 3rd act brought some tears. Congrats to @MrDanScanlon and everyone that worked on the film. Absolutely recommended. pic.twitter.com/lx45NUdtsY

If you’re sensing Onward isn’t quite up to the Pixar standard, you’re right. It’s beautiful & packs a huge emotional wallop but for the most part is a standard road trip adventure story that gets boosted by an excellent ending. It’s good, not great & that’s a letdown for Pixar. pic.twitter.com/zJaFx4LbN0

Little time for its premiere
The film is directed by Dan Scanlon, who has already directed ‘ Monsters University. ‘ He is also in charge of writing this personal script based on himself that serves as a tribute to his father and a gift to his brother.
After the good reviews the desire to see the movie increases, but it will not be possible until March 6 that will be released by Walt Disney Pictures.
