The Witcher can be played in virtual reality thanks to a mod in Unreal Engine 4 for Oculus, HTC and WMR devices.

The Witcher can be played in virtual reality thanks to a mod created by Patryk Loan for the Enhanced Edition of the game developed by CD Projekt RED.

The package reworks some of the scenarios from the original The Witcher in Unreal Engine 4 and introduces support for OculusHTC, and Windows Mixed Reality devices.

At the moment the project includes a single map, Kaer Morhen, which can be visited by VR players. There are no fights yet, moreover, we are talking about a scenario in which the enemies are missing.

The author of the mod plans to insert new settings drawn from the original The Witcher with the next updates, as well as to create a real playable narrative campaign.
