How to Create a Windows 10 Shutdown Shortcut?


In order to shut down Windows 10, it is necessary to follow the Start Menu /Turns On / Shut Down / Turn off the computer, that is, click on three buttons. But you can define this task shortcut and add icons to the desktop.

To turn off the computer, you can use the mouse to Start / Turn On / Turn Off / Turn off the computer or use the ALT + F4 key combination on the keyboard. You can also define a shortcut.

Right-click on your desktop to create a shutdown icon and create a Shortcut via New options.

Then, paste the following command in the ‘Type the location of the item’ section and click Next.

Shutdown.exe / s / t 00


Set a name for the shortcut you created in the next step and complete the process.
