Been several months since Apple launched its streaming platform several months ago and we still have great products to stand out among all your offer. For the moment, Apple TV+ had released up to five dramatic series (‘The Morning Show’, ‘Servant’, ‘See’, ‘For All Mankind’ and ‘Truth Be Told’) and the first four had gotten the renewal for a second season.
Finally, we arrive the turn the series, starring Octavia Spencer, where the interpreter will return to play Poppy Parnell after having been accompanied by Aaron Paul in the first batch of episodes. The company has announced that the second season will focus on a new case and Spencer will also be responsible for producing the show that leads Nichelle Tramble Spellman as showrunner.
“I can’t wait to work with the talented Nichelle, as well as with our partners at Apple, Hello Sunshine, Chernin Entertainment Endeavor Content, and the entire family of ‘Truth Be Told’ to continue to expand these characters and this world. There is a lot more to explore and we’re really excited to start creating new episodes, stories and characters“said Spencer.
Renewal for all
It seems that the platform is opting in principle for the renewal of all their products and keep the trust intact in all of them. The first season of ‘Truth Be Told’ was premiered in December and was stoned to death by the specialized critics as ordinary and boring, with the remark that the characters are flat and the story doesn’t engage. Soon, Apple TV+ will launch ‘Amazing Stories’ (with Steven Spielberg) and ‘Defending Jacob’ (starring Chris Evans).
