Givenchy chose Ariana Grande as the new face of the brand, as announced today on the profile Instagram of the French brand of the group Lvmh.
Already during the day yesterday, the brand and the singer had released at the same time a campaign video teaser that shows the silhouette of a woman with a high ponytail, unmistakably that of the pop star. However, only a little while ago, the brand has officially confirmed the appointment.
The collaboration comes at a very poignant moment for the singer-in addition to being involved in its Sweetener world tour, is acknowledged as queen in the latest edition of The Coachella Festival. To participate, in fact, would have received the higher compensation to all artists involved, including Selena Gomez and Cardi B8 million dollars (7.8 million euros) (see MFF of 21 April).
In April, moreover, the singer has launched a line of beauty products called “Thank u, next”, from the title of a popular song.
The collection, which includes fragrances, body lotions, bath gels and scrubs, joins the line of fragrances the pop star sold by Ulta Beauty.
