‘The Witcher’ was without doubt one of the great series that marked the end of the past year. The adaptation of Netflix brought us a season of 8 chapters starring Henry Cavill. While we expect the first advances of his now-confirmed second season, the company in charge of its visual effects, Framestore, shows us how they made all these effects.
As we can see in the video, it is a detailed work up to the limit, a construction of the main cities in order to destroy them. The creation of landscapes and stops completely non-existent in the series seem real. Effects of a hollywood blockbuster, we might have seen in theaters. Thanks to effects of this type in series such as ‘The Witcher’, ‘Game of Thrones’ or ‘Westworld’, among others, we see that the series of large platforms do not stay away from the big film productions in this aspect.
Second on the way
As we have already mentioned, the second season of the series is already confirmed and on the way, and will feature Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra in the main roles like this, but we will have important news. Two of the most talked about are those of Kim Bodnia as Vesemir, who was the mentor of Geralt of Rivia and it is an important warlock and Christopher Hivju, who played Tormund in the critically acclaimed ‘Game of thrones’. The second season is already in production (for now stop by the pandemic coronavirus), but is expected to hit Netflix in 2021.
