‘Grey’s anatomy’ ends season 16 with four chapters less

With the crisis by the coronavirus far from finished, the series had still not announced their plans are still taking drastic measures, especially those that have not been able to complete filming their seasons to the full. It is the case of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Before that was declared a pandemic, the ABC series had completed 21 of the 25 chapters that I was going to have the season 16.

Grey's Anatomy

And with those 21 are going to be because, according to reports TV Linethe chain has decided not to try to roll those four episodes that are left and to give a premature end to the season. Therefore, there remain only two episodes per issue: the April 2 and April 9, that becomes the end of the season.

What was supposed to be a break of two weeks has gone to be a situation without a clear end, so it is logical that the series would prefer to give for loss this season and already take back the plots in the following season. ‘The Walking Dead’, for example, is going to give shelve the tenth season with what they have recorded and broadcast the end as a special when you can roll it. Others, such as ‘The Flash’, you have opted for extending a little the season by issuing chapters of repeated and reserves that are recorded for later.

The new season finale

With this change of plans, this is what we know of the “new” season finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ thanks to your synopsis: “Link is trying to convince Amelia that we take it easy during your last stage of pregnancy; Hayes asks Meredith a question amazing; Owen makes a shocking discovery”. On the 9th of April, the Grey Sloan Memorial will close its doors until the next season.
