“Scooby-Doo” it is one of the television series most remembered of a few decades ago. The team of Mystery to the order, and Scooby became the favorite characters of the public; which, when they premiered their movies live action became a hit in the cinema. But, why don’t huba a third party Scooby-Doo?
If you still don’t remember much of “Scooby-Doo” we tell you that this was a series of comedy and mystery released since 1969. The so-called team “Mystery of the order” they were Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy, 4 young people that helped to resolve cases on monsters and ghosts from various cities and towns, in the company of his scaredy-cat dog and friend, Scooby-Doo.
According to various experts in the film, the tape “Scooby-Doo” released in 2002 was a huge commercial success not only in the united States, but in various parts of the world. Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne), Freddie Prinze Jr. (Fred), Linda Cardellini (Velma) and Matthew Lillard (Shaggy) and Scooby-Doo as an animated character.
However, the second part of the tape “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed”, not got the same impact as the first film. Despite the fact that counted with the participation of the same actors, the story was presented was not to the liking of all fans of the series. So “Machine of mystery” and the team, had to be discarded from the theaters.
James Gunn talks Scooby-Doo
James Gunn, director of the saga of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”, before being so recognized as it is now, was a scriptwriter for the films “Scooby-Doo” so he himself spoke about the third part of this film that was never to see the light after the failure of the second part.
When a fan asked James Gunn on Twitter if he had any idea of what would be the third film of Scooby, the director responded with an interesting synopsis of what we had been able to see on the screen:
- “The band of Mystery Ink (sic) —Mystery of the Order, in Latin — is hired by a village of Scotland, who complains about the monsters that haunt him, but in the film we discover that the monsters are actually the victims, and Scooby and Shaggy have to accept their own prejudices and belief systems as narrow. (Yes, really!)”.

This response was very intrigued to fans of “Scooby-Doo”, because that means that the third tape would be recorded, but everything remained in the past. So I’ll have to make do with the two tapes of live action that were.
The Mystery Ink gang are hired by a town in Scotland who complain they’re being plagued by monsters, but we discover throughout the film the monsters are actually the victims & Scooby & Shaggy have to come to terms with their own prejudices & narrow belief systems. (Yes, Really!)
