Modern Family prepares for its grand finale this Wednesday, April 8, for which their products have prepared several surprises for the last episode of the famous comic series.
The writers and producers of Modern Family, Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd gave some details of the epic final that had been prepared for the series starring personalities such as Sofia Vergara.
- “Personally, I like the end in which the characters live in a certain way so that live viewers, which is having to say goodbye. It is something emotional for many people. I have devoted much time to these characters, so give them the emotional finale that you seek/want is for me the best way to go,” he said Levitan.
For his part, Christopher Lloyd, who wrote the second half of the final episode – while Steven Levitan wrote the first – of Modern Family, said:
- “I thought it was a better strategy is to send people away with new paths and a certain way to pass the control of these characters to the audience in that moment. With luck, the audience will be happy imagining the characters starting new adventures, new challenges”.
The “birth” of Modern Family
11 years after the premiere of Modern Family, Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd recall how it came about the original idea for the series, which was inspired by the format of a false documentary of “The Office”.
- “All of these things are well enough known, but different enough, that this series has possibilities,” said Lloyd.
