The Center of Psychological Care is comprised of 120 psychologists and psychologists from eight public institutions.

The secretary of the Youth Rodrigo Ruiz Ballesteros, pointed out that the Center of Psychological Care is comprised of 120 psychologists and psychologists from eight public institutions, which have extensive knowledge in care at a distance, clinical experience in psychological first aid, emotional support and psychosocial care.

“This effort would not have been possible without the active participation of the psychologists of the Instituto Queretano of Women (IQM), the Secretariat of Health (SESEQ), the Network Psychosocial Intervention for Emergency Situations and Disasters, the USEBEQ, the COBAQ, the municipality of Querétaro and the state DIF”, he stressed.

Also, desatcó that the psychological care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and stressed that, in contribution to the distancing measures issued by the health authorities, and the psychologists provide the service via telephone.

Ruiz Ballesteros, indicated that 4 to 6 of April have been received 177 calls for psychological counseling through the Line COVID-19, in which 45 percent of the users referred to feeling fear, despair and confusion; the 30 % depressive symptoms, lack of sleep, lack of interest and low motivation; while the 15 % anxiety and distress.

“In 81% of the 177 calls received requested reports of the psychological care and 19% had accompanying emotional that provides this service,” said the owner of the youth.

In this sense, the head of Promotion of the Health of the Sejuve, Sarina Orozco Monroy, pointed out that in this phase of the national emergency it is likely that people will begin to experience anxiety, worry and fear; “hence the importance of bringing psychological care and timely so as to avoid risk behaviors”.

Through the Line COVID-19 44 21 01 52 05 it seeks to serve the population that requires it, by psychologists attached to hospitals in the state to support family members of patients diagnosed with COVID19 and by the middle of the State Centre of Mental Health care is provided to the health staff of the first front
