Mexico.- Ricardo Monreal, chairman of the Board of Political Coordination (Jucopo) of the Senate reported that the organ will hold weekly meetings to review actions with respect to the epidemic of COVID-19.
In live streaming through their Twitter account (@RicardoMonrealA), the legislator morenista noted that the Jucopo will bring together -in a virtual way – next Tuesday at 12:00 hours.
On the agreements that were reached by the members of the Jucopo, indicated that “one of the agreements was to review the National Agreement -presented by the benches in the Senate of the PRI, PAN and PRD – from which we were excluded; review of this proposal, which I have done, the proposal of Austerity and the people’s Solidarity of the Senate that contains eight points, they will review and consult with their groups and teams.
Third: to meet periodically to address the COVID-19. Fourth, to make proposals for the benefit of the meeting of working groups such as the COVID-19 and the T-MEC, which continues to the Senate through digital media”, he stressed Monreal Ávila.
The proposed Austerity of Ricardo Monreal contemplates reducing diet to senators, salary to public servants and to reduce subsidies to the political parties, among other points.
