A group of 14 artists from different parts of the world will unite in a global event, which seeks to pay homage and provide support to the medical community that has responded to the pandemic coronavirus.

The artists will be on stage will be: Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, Finneas, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Lizzo, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, J Balvin, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra, Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder.

‘One World: Together at Home’ broadcast live on Saturday, April 18 2020 for different television networks in the united States and digital platforms in Canada.

The broadcast virtual show the unity between all the people affected by the COVID-19 and in addition to honor and offer support for the brave workers of the health care that saves lives in the first line.

“While we honor and offer support to the initiatives of heroic workers of the health of the community, the goal of ‘One world: together at home’ it is to be a source of unity and motivation in the global fight to put an end to the covid-19. Through the music, the entertainment and the impact of the global broadcast live honour those who put at risk their own health to protect the rest of the people,” said Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen.

The event will also be a digital transmission of several hours on internet, in different global platforms, including the following: Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube.

Last month, in response to the global pandemic, Global Citizen launched an urgent campaign in order to support the Fund of Solidarity Response COVID-19 of the WHO, driven by the United Nations Foundation.
