The director himself told the experience in a recent question and answer session on the social networks that offered to the public,

“As has been reported many times, DC Comics offered me any movie you’d like to do, including a Superman movie. I chose Suicide Squad because it is one of my favourite properties in the world. It is the story we wanted to tell more than any other,” said Gunn.

However, when the filmmaker spoke of Superman, did not specify if it was Man of Steel 2 with Henry Cavill or a reboot of the character, how the Batman directed by Matt Reeves.
