The reboot of Doogie Howser will have a woman as the protagonist

Disney still committed to the nostalgia through its streaming service Disney+ and hopes to bring some series of yesteryear that kept us glued to the sofa of our childhood as Patoaventuras or Partners and Bloodhounds. Yes, imprinting them with a slight touch of novelty. And in this sense, the reboot of Doogie Howser it is not the exception, instead of a young doctor, we will see a protagonist of 16 years.

The series is by Kourtney Kang, writer How I Meet Your Mother. And is little more that we know, because until the moment there is no news about the casting, the production, or the possible release dates.

Doogie Howser was issued by the ABC network for four seasons from 1989 to 1993 and consists of 97 episodes in general. The series featured Neil Patrick Harris as a genius teenager, working as a licensed medical doctor while attempting to overcome the difficulties of growing up.
