Heath Ledger refused to make jokes about “Brokeback Mountain” at the Oscars


It has been known that the actor Heath Ledger I would have refused to perform the monologue opening ceremony of the Oscar 2007.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who co-starred the film along with Ledger, gave this known in an interview for Another Man.

The actor recalls that the Academy wanted to add a joke during the opening of the awards ceremony, referring that at that time he thought “Oh, whatever”.
