Fans of Sam Smith and Demi Lovato have led to an upcoming collaboration on a new song.
Sunday 12 April, Smith and Lovato was mocked of the next duo in the social networks. “You’RE READY,” tweeted the british singer, tagging Lovato. “I’m READY”, answered the singer, attaching a GIF with your initials.
The singers superstar has not revealed a specific date for the launch of the song, but the manager of Lovato, Scooter Braun, retuiteó the exchange and added: “This week! #Sam x Demi “.
At the end of march, Smith shared a note on social networks, informing fans that they were going to bring forward the release date of may 1 of their third album at a later date, and by renaming the launch, which originally was titled To Die For.
In a statement on Instagram, Smith wrote: “I have thought a lot in the last few weeks and I feel that the title of the album and the imminent release don’t feel well, so I have taken the decision to continue working on the album and make some changes and additions important. “
“It is going to be an album this year, I promise!” Smith wrote. “But until then, I’m still going to get some new music in the coming months, that excites me a lot.”
It is no secret that Smith and Lovato are great admirers of each other. In 2017, Lovato launched a version of “Too Good at Goodbyes” of Smith during a session for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Smith realized the cover and praised on the social networks.
“YES @ddlovato ❤️ SAAAAAAANG IT”, tweeted. Lovato also revealed that she was “dying to work with him.”
On the 14th of February, Smith released the single “To Die For” and shared an acoustic version of the song with the fans after a few weeks. Smith has not confirmed if the song former primary will remain in the album reviewed.
