Much has been talked in the past about the remake of one of the anti-heroes more dark ones that there are, however, it is not yet clear whether the studio will give the green light to the project, however, it had previously been revealed that Jamie Foxx would embody this cruel character, but things end up changing once more, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II would be the next to Spawn.
In a statement last week, the film’s director, Todd McFarlane, he said he was unfortunately lost to Jamie Foxx to put on the costume of Spawn, however, already had a new option, that the light would explode the internet.
“We have an offer for, a bigger fish, so there are not a lot larger than the first type, but, anyway, we’ll see. If you were able to get to the last type, it would have been a Home Run. If I can catch this guy, it will be a grand slam. This will explode the Internet” said the director.
And apparently, the name of the actor has already been revealed; according to sources in the portal We Got This Covered, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will become the next Spawn, which is a reflection of the rise that is currently having his career, so that to embody this famous anti-hero, would get better projects in the future.
A point in favor of the actor, that the genre of superheroes is not unknown to him, since previously he impersonated the villain, Black Manta in the film ‘Aquaman’, and recently I play Calvin Abar, who is all-powerful Dr. Manhattan in the HBO series, ‘Watchmen’, so that we do not doubt that it could deliver a great version of Spawn.
It is as well as it was revealed that, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II would be the next Spawn, although the sources also commented that it does not stay with the main role, the actor might interpret the villain of the film, so that the future of Yahya could be in movies based on comics.
