Famous natives of New Jersey, united States, join in a charity event, to raise funds to ease the ravages of the current pandemic COVID-19, and among the guests are Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Halsey and Charlie Puth.
The event Jersey 4 Jersey will take place the 22 of April next, through several digital platforms; the organization that will receive the donations is New Jersey’s Pandemic Relief Fund, which is fighting against the impact on medical, social and economic of the coronavirus in the state.
Other celebrated figures of the music and the action that will be supporting the city are Tony Bennett, Jon Stewart, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, Kelly Ripa, SZA and Saquon Barkley.
However, it is not confirmed if the musicians that will attend will have a special event or just give a speech in support of the charity. “New Jersey is in the first line of this pandemic, so that it is more important than ever that we do what Jersey does best: care for each other,” said the first lady of New Jersey, Tammy Murphy, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
For their part, other celebrities will do the same for the city of Cleveland, including Joan Jett, Alice Cooper, Jason Mraz, among others, in the framework of the concert-from-home Cleveland Rocks: From Our Living Rooms the 15 of April, which will be broadcast on Fox, and the profits will be donated to the Rapid Response Fund COVID-19 of Greater Cleveland.
