Samuel L. Jackson has an Avenger favorite and tells us what it is

All parents have a favorite son, want to admit it or not, and Nick Fury is no exception.

If you ever asked a parent if you have a favorite son, you know that the issue of favoritism is the million dollar question. Analog would be to ask Nick Fury pater families of SHIELD and the Avengers Initiative far away in the Iron Man 2008, what is your avenger a favorite. And Samuel L. Jackson, the insane actor that puts the body at the horse of the patch, you can respond to.

To begin with, and since more than a decade ago, Jackson has worked with almost all the characters in the Movie Universe of Marvel. While we do not know too well what he was doing during the events of Captain America: Civil War or Black Panther, has had more or less a stable share in the UCM (even with the snap of Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War). With twelve years between his first appearance and the day of today (and with the certainty that, thanks to the scene after the credit Spider-Man: From Home, you will have an important role in the Phase 4), it is clear that Jackson has a favorite. Or should we say “favorite”.

Drum roll please: the Avenger preferred of Samuel is none other than Black Widow. That answered the actor in dialogue with THRdespite say first that your Avenger favorite is the very Nick Fury. Towards the end, however, admits that it is not his own character the more you like, but the Scarlett Johansson.

And seems to us to be tender because, after all, they were both introduced formal manner in the UCM at the same time: in the Iron Man 2 in which we met Natasha Romanoff. In fact, Fury and Black Widow worked together in SHIELD for quite some time, and their interactions are gold dust.

Will this be a hint that maybe we will see Nick Fury make a cameo in the highly anticipated only movie Black Widow? Subtracted to wait (enough) to know for sure, but what we are sure of is that the tape will explore the origins of Romanoff, and how it came the Russian spy to become a powerful member of the creme de la creme superheróica.
