LOS ANGELES, California.- Selena Gomez continues to support movements that help different sectors that have been affected, in one way or another, by the current pandemic of coronavirus. On this occasion he does so with Mark Ruffalo.
‘My friend Mark Ruffalo told me about this incredible initiative to support our teams with as many members incredible crew and they need our help at this time. If you can, slide up and consider donating to the people who make all our projects happen,’ wrote the singer on her Instagram Stories.
The request is located at ‘Go Fund Me’ under the name of ‘It Takes Our Village to #SupportOurCrews’ and specifically looks to support all the people who are behind cameras.
‘Covid-19 is impacting all types of businesses in all corners of the world. And the entertainment industry is no different. With the film and television productions currently in detention, or suspended, hundreds of thousands of people working behind the camera are being affected the most. The majority of whom are workers below the line without contractual guarantees. In fact, the applications of these equipment for emergency relief have grown twenty-fold in the last few weeks,’ reads the page.
That is why Bruna Papandrea (Founder and CEO, Made Up Stories) and Gregg Fienberg (Producer) brought together a coalition of producers, writers and directors, to raise funds for these workers.
