The cultural world as we know it is going to take a while to return. It’s up to all, as artists or as viewers, reinvent ourselves, find new techniques to reach out to others, share our art, and, as public, be able to enjoy it from the strange comfort of home. There won’t be for a while meetings of more than 50 people, they say…

I think about everything that can be done to adapt to this new “normal” and I wonder if it is not that we were destined to an Era Ermitaña, the was online.

This isolation is making me wonder things that I do not do long ago. Think of it as “pucha, I should have gone…” it makes me recurrent. One of those things is going to concerts. He used to attend almost all that was of foreign bands, on the Night of The Ravine to see local bands live, I even had my time in The Inn of the Angel. I love the feeling of the concert, to be all there with the same sense of excitement is cool, but all of a sudden sing at the same time the same song is pajaza.

Then, in this new normal home, I’ll leave some shows online that you’ll be able to enjoy these days. Advantage, that if everything goes as we go, no longer we will find them for free in the near future, it will be the way of several musicians to be able to continue walking. Reinventing.

This Saturday, April 18 will be the concert by One World: Together at Home (One world: together in the home), which will be forwarded online with artists such as Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder, Alanis Morissette, Elton John, Priyanka Chopra, Maluma, Finneas, and several others. This concert is a tribute and thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff health, day-to-day struggle to get out of this pandemic. Follow him at www. globalcitizen.org/togetherathome.

You also have the Montreux Jazz Festival, which for 30-day you free-of-charge presentations of 50 artists of the level of Wu-Tang Clan, Nina Simone, Marvin Gaye, Deep Purple, Patti Smith, and more. Look for it in https://www.montreuxjazzfestival.com/en/50-concerts-to-stream/.

Alejandro y María Laura, musicians, peruvian, will present the 22nd April the new single by Earth Day in collaboration with Conservation International Peru. Healthy Healthy will be seen in their social networks, with an environmental message that today we must take all into account yet. Then, on the 25th of April you’ll be able to enjoy a full concert online. Looking for facebook.com/ alejandroymarialaura.

I know that is not the same as a live concert, but turns off the lights at home, turn on the computer, the cel, smart TV or what works best for you, log off for a while coronavirus and the stress, and remember that you’re not locked, you’re safe.
