“One World: Together At Home” Is the name of the special program that will be broadcast worldwide on Saturday, April 18 to honor and support to health professionals, which will include stories of real experiences of medical staff, nurses and families from around the world.
Thanks to the commitment of citizens and partners from the business world in favour of the Fund of Solidarity Response against COVID-19, the transmission of this programme will also benefit associations philanthropic local and regional that provide food, shelter and health care to those who need it most.
The animators of this historical transmission will be Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and characters of Sesame street, all willing to to rally and inspire people around the world to redouble their efforts support to the global fight against the COVID-19.
Organized in collaboration with Lady Gaga, the transmission will count with the participation of Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J. One World: Together At Home it will be transmitted to all the world by tv and the internet in support of those who fight against the pandemic, on Saturday 18 April 2020 to 17:00 hours Pacific Time on television networks and social networks through ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, among others.
For its part, the BBC One will broadcast the program internationally on Sunday, April 19.
