The reboot of Dune it has gone from being a complete mystery to be the topic of conversation this week thanks to the publication of new information and multiple photographs of the film.
After getting to know a good part of the main cast in these images, now reveals the appearance of another of those involved. Specifically, in the image you are watching the actor Chang Cheng in the role of Dr. Wellington Yueh, a character already appeared in the novel of Frank Herbert.
Yueh is a member of the school Suk and one of the persons of confidence of the house Atreides, the family which stars in the iconic franchise of science fiction. The character plays a small role in the history of the novel, but it is of vital importance.
Other cast members are Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Oscar Isaac as Leto Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, Rebecca Fergusson as Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Dave Bautista as Glosu Rabban, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, and Javier Bardem as Stilgar, among many others.
The film will premiere on the 18th of December and will be the first part of a saga told in two feature films, as recently as Villeneuve claimed that it would not have agreed to adapt this novel if he had not been permitted to make two films, as he believes that the universe created by Herbert is too large and complex to tackle in a single.
We hope that in the coming months to release a first trailer in which to check the atmosphere and tone of this adaptation a while ago Oscar Isaac was defined as “terrifying, brutal and shocking”.
