Applause to the professionals of basic services to meet 35 days without losing intensity



The citizens have returned to thank this Friday with applause, songs and cheers the work of the medical staff who fight against the pandemic of the coronavirus and the rest of professionals that guarantee the functioning of basic services during the days of confinement.

The appreciation campaign, which emerged in the social networks to acknowledge the work of the health, meets 35 days in which the spaniards have come out on a daily basis to balconies, windows and terraces to express its gratitude to the professionals who are fighting the pandemic and, in turn, are the most exposed to infection.

Throughout these days, the first at 22.00 hours and from the 15th day of march at 20.00 hours to recruit more people, the unanimous applause, accompanied by shouts and beating of pans, has been combining with songs of all kinds and according to the areas of the Spanish geography.

The #AplausosSanitarios, an initiative promoted in social networks and message strings of Whatsapp, have served to unite neighbors and engage in conversations, even games, block to block, in the large cities, so as to transmit a certain feeling of company in the loneliness that plagues many municipalities in rural Spain.
