One of the films that will be part of phase 4 of the Movie Universe of Marvel (MCU, for its acronym in English) will be “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. After the exit of Scott Derrickson as director, there was the rumor that Sam Raimi would take over the reins of the film.
The director of the first trilogy of “Spider-Man” spoke to the middle ComingSoon, where he mentioned being a huge fan of the character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. “I loved Doctor Strange as a child, but has always been behind Spider-Man and Batman for me. It is probably within the first five characters of comics”.
Raimi also recalled the scene of Spider-Man 2 where he makes mention of the “Sorcerer Supreme” and confirmed that it will work on the sequel starring Benedict Cumberbatch, although he could not specify the function that will be performed.
