Akon is not shy about his support Tekashi 6ix9ine. The veteran Senegalese artist, which is expected to contribute to the album Dummy Boy of 6ix9ine in 2018, appeared in a session Instagram Live with DJ Whoo Kid at the beginning of the week and admitted he still wants to be in a song with the controversial rapper despite his reputation.
“I’m a feature on that disc,” he said Akon. “I am about to call Tekashi right now and tell you, T what are we doing? I’m about to get that record. Listen, I am, black. You can’t beat me up. I’m getting that record”.

Added: “But believe me, Tekashi got my support. However, we have to teach them. We have that be there for them, man. We can’t simply tear down a brother when they fall”.
Akon has defended 6ix9ine in the past. Last November, while 6ix9ine he was still locked up, sympathetic with the situation of the young of 23 years old.
