Fiona Apple released a new album after almost a decade. The renowned singer released on the streaming platforms “Fetch The Bolt Cutters“, the fifth studio album of their discography.
The last thing that launched the singer was 8 years ago, their album “The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do” (2012), known simply as “The Idler Wheel“. Shortly after the release of this album, Apple began work on his fifth full-length, which he began his recordings in 2015 and ended in march of this year.

The result is an intriguing and intense album full of sound experimentation, with the collaboration of the bassist Sebastian Steinberg, guitarist David Garza and the percussionist Amy Aileen Wood. As well as guest artists such as Cara Delevingne and John Would.
The album has a receiving incredibly positive. At the time of publication, the disk has a perfect score of 100 on the site Metacritic, which adds the scores from the critical music professional, with 11 reviews counted.
The review of Pitchfork he pointed out that “the fifth album from Fiona Apple is an unleashed symphony wild of everyday life, a masterpiece unbreakable. No music has sounded so good.”
