A “signal” is the third single from the band’s colombian Cabaleta. According to the members of the grouping, Guillermo Noriega and Felipe De Leon, the song tells of the inevitable loss of a loved one, going through the emotional journey that begins in helplessness and finally ending in acceptance and resignation.
“The theme reflects a more intimate, personal side of the band, being a ballad rock with vocals melodic, but without neglecting the distortions in the low and the battery dynamics that characterize our sound”, said the musicians. (Read: Floor 21 presents “Take away”)

During the production, trying to be as faithful as possible to the structure of the band and avoiding the use of different instruments to the bass and drums, they recorded accompaniments with a Fender Bass VI, a bass six-string bass that allowed them more flexibility to make arrangements on the high notes.
Cabaleta is a rock duo colombian who wants to revitalize and modernize the purest form of the rock. The band incorporates different combinations of effects in the bass with the power of the battery.
The project was born in 2018 after several attempts on the part of its members to form rock bands to traditional formed by three or more musicians. Living out the complex process that leads to take the music seriously with several members, this duo decided to take on the task of trying to create a new project.
“Thus began a period of experimentation, learning, and many hours of rehearsal that gave form to the first issues they decided to take the leap to live performances,” say the members of Cabaleta.
