Ashton Kutcher (“Two and a Half Men”) and Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”) have launched their own bottle of wine under the brand “Quarantine ” Wine” (wine of quarantine), whose benefits will be allocated 100% on donations to aid programmes and charities by the effects of the crisis of the coronavirus.
The broth chosen by the pair of actors is a “Pinot Noir” grown in the state of Oregon, north of California that is sold online at a price of $ 50 for two bottles, and that has attracted the attention of other celebrities like Ariana Grande.
“100% of the proceeds from this wine goes to the charities, ( … ), who perform a critical work and incredible during these unprecedented times. We hope that you enjoy this wine as much as we do and we can’t thank you enough for your support!”, explains the couple in the description of the product.
Kutcher and Kunis were introduced to the initiative on Instagram with a video in which they appear doing a tasting of “online” wine and invite the buyers to join and share their own tastings or “toast video call with your friends.”
The organizations that receive the benefits intended for his activity in the “give food to families in difficult times”, “to provide protective equipment to health professionals” and “help small businesses recover,” explained Kutcher.
The labelling of each bottle is a white background so that each one may write the message that you want.
The associations chosen are GiveDirectly, intended to give aid in cash; Direct Relief and Frontline Responders Fund, which is supplied respirators, and protective equipment in hospitals, and America’s Food Fund, to ensure access to food to families in economic difficulty.
