Confirmed: “The hunger games” returns to cinema with a trip back in time


The saga –which raised more than three thousand million dollars– returns to theaters with a film adaptation of the prequel, which has not yet been distributed in the libraries. Already has a release date: the 19th of may.

Yesterday Lions Gatethe company is a canadian-american who published the first four films of the saga (Los the Hunger games, In Flames, Sinsajo Part 1 and Sinsajo Part 2), announced that it will be a prequel based on the latest novel from Suzanne Collins: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snake (Ballad of singing birds and snakes).

The book –which focuses on the life of Snow to 18 years, long before becoming the tyrannical president of Panem– will be adapted by director Francis Lawrence, screenwriter Michael Arndt and producer Nina Jacobson, the same who worked on the four film adaptations above. And the first comments on the same and gave Joe Drake, the group president, Lionsgate Motion Picture, which said: “It was worth the wait, because the new book Suzanne offers everything that fans can expect and at the same time opens new paths and introduces a canvas of characters completely new,”.

In regard to the distribution, we still do not know anything. But the fans already dream to see a cameo that re-reunite Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
