Dua Lipa and Chris Martin recorded a song of solidarity for the fight against the coronavirus

The singers Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding and Hailee Steinfeld, as well as other artists and bands of the likes of Chris Martin, Sean Paul, Bastille or Paloma Faith, have decided to join forces with several campaigns of solidarity promoted by the BBC to raise funds in benefit of the sectors hardest hit, both at the economic level as a doctor, by the current crisis of the coronavirus.

More specifically, these familiar faces from the world of music to record a new version of the classic Foo Fighters ‘Time Like These’ that will soon be available on the streaming platforms and in virtual stores. Also, they will all be involved -from their homes, of course – in a video clip which will be broadcasted by the public broadcaster in the framework of a solidarity programme called ‘The Big Night In’ this Thursday.

As soon as it is given to know the news, the above-mentioned Dua Lipa, who has garnered considerable success with his latest album ‘Future Nostalgia’, has resorted to social media to thank the promoters of this beautiful initiative, in addition to express his satisfaction with the possibility to contribute your voice to a grain of sand to such an important cause.

“I am proud to have been able to participate in the recording of this song with so many artists that I admire, and I am looking forward that you can listen to the song as soon as possible. I love you all so much and I hold you in my thoughts during these difficult times”, has written the interpreter on his Twitter account.
