“This night, all the citizens of New Jersey is coming together as we did after September 11 or hurricane Sandy because that is how we get out of this,” said the driver Stephen Colbert this Wednesday, as one of the guests of the festival “Jersey for Jersey”.
The virtual meeting brought together musicians, athletes and influencers to raise funds in the fight to stop the pandemic by the coronavirus Covid-19 and the damage it has caused, particularly for the most vulnerable, of the state of New Jersey in United States.

“Here now in the midst of all this anguish and pain, the love and kindness we are getting stronger, and what we see on all sides,” said Colbert.
Led by the musician Bruce Springsteen, who is originally from New Jersey, the meeting passed in Mexico the Internet has had during a one-hour musical presentations and capsules in which are told stories of how doctors are working to treat the sick, as well as testimonials from people infected with hiv.
“We are here dedicated to those who serve our health, workers and all those who have lost their loved ones to suffer and die with this terrible disease, here and now in our beloved state,” said Bruce, accompanied by his wife, Patti Scialfa.

Throughout his career Springsteen has participated in several shows with social cause as this was the case since it is an event organized by the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund” (Fund of aid pandemic of New Jersey).
The musician was joined by personalities such as Halsey who sang acoustically on the topic “Finally/beautiful stranger”, Bon Jovi who sang the classic “Livin’ on a prayer” and the actor and comedian Chris Rock, among others.
