Awards in New York documentary of Shakira


On the 21st of April were announced the winners of New York Festivals® TV & Film Awards 2020, rewarding highlights of the industries of television and film in more than 50 countries. The documentary Shakira in concert: The Golden world tour, received two gold medals in the categories, Performing Arts and Special Event.

This project demonstrated to the world the stage the personal and professional that went through the composer on the tour, compiling testimonies of the own Shakira and some of the scenes behind the scenes, that gave life to the overall concept that encompassed 22 countries and appeared before over a million spectators, who patiently waited for his artist repusiera of a lesion on the vocal cords.

In conjunction with Trafalgar Releasing, Shakira in Concert: The Golden world tour had its world premiere in November last year in 2 thousand cinemas around 79 countries of the globe in a unique event in a single night. This cinematic experience designed to immortalize the important step in the career of the colombian, was amplified with the release of the album of the tour.

In their passage through Mexico, this documentary was available on 13 and 15 November 2019 in more than 60 cities, this being the way in which the mexicans lived near the experience that served to promote the album The Golden, who took home a Grammy for Best pop vocal album Latin and a Latin Grammy for Best pop vocal album contemporary.

Currently the colombian promotes the simple I like, for which it joined its voice to that of the reguetonero, Anuel, that leads up to the moment more than 117 million listens by Spotify and has exceeded 63 million views on YouTube. Sony Music, recently confirmed that the interpreter is working in unpublished music that will be released in the future.
