Halle Berry reveals that she nearly died on set of James Bond

Halle Berry has revealed that she nearly died while shooting a scene of ‘Die Another Day’, in which she played Jinx Johnson, one of the girls Bond most remembered of the saga 007.

It was his fellow actor, Pierce Brosnan, the one who saved his life, since he was on the verge of death by drowning.

The actress has told how it happened this scare, which ended up being one of the anecdotes from the shooting of the film, in an interview in the program of Jimmy Fallon.

The scene in question was of strong erotic charge. However, what began with sensual movements ended with Berry about to die suffocated.

It was supposed that everything had to be sexy and tried to seduce him [a James Bond] eating a fig, but I started to atragantarme”, started to explain the interpreter, which also revealed how Brosnan saved her life.

“Rose and I did the Heimlich maneuver. You should have seen him, and there was nothing sensual,” he said.

This time joined by both actors, who have kept a good relationship after the filming of the tape.

“James Bond knew how to do the Heimlich maneuver, and was there for me. Will always be one of my favorite people in the world,” said the actress about Brosnan.

Fans of James Bond anxiously await the premiere of ‘No time to die’, the farewell of Daniel Craig in the role of the british spy. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and Ana de Armas as the new Bond girl, the film is scheduled to premiere on the 12th of November… if the coronavirus permits.
