(CNN) — Actress Anna Kendrick finally responded after a hockey player sent a message on Christmas, and basically the whole world of hockey on Twitter supported it.
We have all received (or sent) text messages are risky at Christmas. But the player of the New York Islanders, Anthony Beauvillier, adopted a different approach when it sent a simple tweet to the void.
His tweet –”Hey @ AnnaKendrick47″— began a wave of messages to Kendrick, praising Beauvillier, 22 years old, with the hope of calling the attention of the actress.
“He was taking care of ALL THE ANIMAL SHELTER last week. Without a doubt, a real type,” wrote the Twitter user CD.
“Thanks for doing an open-heart surgery in my man”, wrote the user Chris Genovese. “What I appreciate.”
“Hey, man, thanks for letting me use your team during the fundraising that kept in the animal shelter to save the puppies,” wrote the user Big Heat, following with a reference to the great “cup” of Beauvillier.
After days of silence, Kendrick, 34-year-old, finally chimed in, tweeting that the answers have been “my entertainment for the past two days.”
None of the two has made more public comments about it.
