Apparently Charlie Cox finally, will not return as Matt Murdock in the sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home. After a series of rumors which claimed that the actor who starred in the series of Daredevil for Netflix it would appear in the third movie of the spider-headed by Tom Holland, Cox took advantage of an interview to dismiss these claims.
In conversation with Comicbookthe actor said that he was not aware of the reports which were claiming that their version of Matt Murdock would appear as the attorney of Peter Parker in the new movie.
“I had not heard those rumors, but certainly not with my Daredevil. I’m not involved in that”, commented Cox. “If that is true, it is not with me. Is with another actor”.
The rumors regarding a possible appearance of Cox in the upcoming movie Spider-Man began in October of last year and were driven by portals as We Got This Covered, and the leaker Daniel PKR. However, already this year they returned to revive the hand of Kevin Smith.
In that sense, the alleged involvement of Cox in the sequel Far From Home was never confirmed, and although the actor maintains that now there is nothing, also said that he likes the idea of linking to the cancelled series, Netflix with movies from Marvel Studios.
“As a fan of the Marvel movies, I loved the little things that appeared here and there (in the series), but because we were on Netflix could not do much for legal reasons, I don’t know why”, sentenced Cox. “But I love the idea that Jessica and Matt appear in the background or that Matt is a lawyer who advises Peter Parker. That would be really great”.
The new film of the saga of Spider-Man starring Tom Holland expected to start in November 2021 and although there are still no concrete details about its plot all points to which you will have to take charge of the revelation of the secret identity, and accusation of murder against Peter Parker.
