Latin artists join forces to help workers in the field

Mana, Los Tigres del Norte, Sofia Vergara, Juanes and Dolores Huerta have joined the historic festival of music and pop culture, Most High Live!, that will be broadcast live over the internet on the fifth of May with the goal of raising $3 million – $ 5 at the same time – for agricultural workers in the country.

The festival will be hosted by actress, producer, director and activist Eva Longoria and the president and creative director of iHeartLatino, Enrique Santos. Other co-hosts will be J Balvin, Kate Del Castillo, Rosario Dawson and Alejandro Sanz.

While the long list of participating artists includes, in alphabetical order: A. B. Inspired by the historic concert Live Aid, and supported by P&G, the event benefit was created by RetroPop Media and iHeartLatino, the platform hispanic of iHeartMedia, and also co-produced with WFHN-TV, One HUNDRED +, The Justice for Migrant Women, Hispanics In Philanthropy (HIP), INGEÑUITY, The Latinx House, The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF), and PEOPLE en Español..

The program will present a “call to contribute” for the viewers to contribute five this five (#CincoOnCinco), with a donation of $5 or more, online or by sending a text message with the phrase FIVE to 91999. The people who want to support this cause may, before or during the festival, to do so through farmworkers.hipgive.org to help meet the goal of the fundraising.

The festival will also highlight stories of leaders of agricultural workers, as well as messages of thanks from notable persons, with the overall objective of promoting actions combined to support our community of farm workers.

Most High Live! officially starts in the social networks of @AltisimoLive in Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Periscope and Twitch simultaneously on Tuesday, may 5th at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p. m. ET, with an interactive experience of live broadcasts over the internet that will include artists, comedians, chefs, influential people and other personalities in surprise.

At 5:00 p. m. PT / 8:00 p. m. ET, the innovative festival interactive is transformed into a series of continuous musical performances, in addition to questions, answers and experiences with the artists.
